epaperchase was founded on a simple premise: Self employed individuals, small companies and individuals need an inexpensive service to track and permanently store expenses including bills, receipts, and mileage.
They also need to store documents and personal records including important correspondence,
licensing information, award letters, and legal documents.
John Stack, serial entrepreneur, founder and President of epaperchase had piles of receipts stacking up.
He was too busy to do anything with them. Moreover, he had no desire to handle them.
He wanted to do the things he loves and does well (customer relationships, developing plans, communicating, researching) but he didn’t want to do the things he hated or didn’t do well (accounting, paperwork, filing.)
And then there’s the fact that when he was managing his own expenses and business records, he wasn’t generating income.
After going through everything he needed, John got an idea. He knew that he shared a similar problem with many other small business owners.
The number of receipts and invoices a small business needs store will never decrease. Combine this with the need for a new way to make a living and you have epaperchase. How to deliver it to the market was the issue. Brainstorming with his network of friends and business associates helped. After confirming a workable business model that would provide immense benefit to customers as well as provide a very good second income to partners, he developed epaperchase.
